The Art of Not Making is the title of a celebrated book issued last year by the artist and author, Michael Petry. In it he presents one of the most potent movements of the early 20th century: Ideology-driven art with a strong visual expression, in which the artist has not participated in the manual process but, rather, has left it to specialist craftsmen. Bukowskis is presenting an exhibition during Stockholm Art Week based on this book and a number of significant works by, among others, Mike Kelley, Gavin Turk, Angela de la Cruz, Rebecca Scott and Haim Steinbach.
